Strong Support from ULUSKON for Turkey–Malaysia Trade

Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, paid a visit to the Ambassador of Malaysia to Ankara, His Excellency Adlan Mohd Shaffieq, at the Embassy.

Developing Turkey–Malaysia Trade Discussed

During the meeting, which took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, the current state of economic and trade relations between Turkey and Malaysia was evaluated, and cooperation opportunities aimed at increasing the export and import volume between the two countries were discussed. The parties highlighted the importance of encouraging mutual investments, bringing business community representatives together more frequently, and strengthening trade relations through sustainable projects.

Speaking at the meeting, President Atasoy emphasized the long-standing friendly relations between Turkey and Malaysia, stating that economic cooperation could be elevated far beyond its current potential. Expressing that ULUSKON is ready to contribute to building new trade bridges between the business worlds of the two countries, increasing investment opportunities, and implementing joint projects, Atasoy congratulated Ambassador Adlan Mohd Shaffieq on his new post in Ankara and wished him success in his duties.

The Ambassador of Malaysia, Adlan Mohd Shaffieq, expressed his satisfaction with the kind visit and stated that he has commenced his duties in Turkey with great excitement and motivation. Emphasizing that they attach great importance to further developing the strong bonds of friendship between Turkey and Malaysia in the economic field, the Ambassador expressed his belief that the new collaborations to be established between the business communities of the two countries will significantly contribute to the trade volume.

New Collaborations and Joint Projects Handled

During the meeting, ideas were also exchanged regarding trade delegations, investment forums, sectoral meetings, and mutual visits of businesspeople that could be organized in the upcoming period. Both sides agreed that strengthening economic diplomacy and increasing direct contacts between private sectors would play a vital role in developing commercial relations between Turkey and Malaysia.

Plaque Presented as a Gesture of Goodwill

At the end of the meeting, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy presented a ULUSKON plaque to the Ambassador of Malaysia, Adlan Mohd Shaffieq, as a gesture of goodwill and friendship in appreciation of his kind hospitality and contributions to the development of friendly relations between the two countries.

The visit concluded with mutual goodwill wishes and a souvenir photo session.
