Visit from Mersin Chamber of Industry President Tekli to ULUSKON

MERSİN Organized Chamber of Industry President Sabri Tekli and the accompanying delegation of businesspeople visited International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) President Nezaket Atasoy.

The meeting, which took place at ULUSKON Headquarters, was attended by Nezaket Atasoy, President of ULUSKON and Sabri Tekli, President of Mersin Chamber of Organized Industry, as well as businesspeople who are experts in their fields. During the meeting, ULUSKON and Mersin Organized Chamber of Industry delegations exchanged views on mutual cooperation. ULUSKON President Atasoy congratulated Sabri Tekli, who was re-elected as the President of Mersin Chamber of Organized Industry and wished him continued success. Atasoy said, "I would like to say that we are honored to host you in our confederation ULUSKON, which has made a sound in Turkey and at the international level."

Underlining that they have similar thoughts and understanding with Tekli for the future of Mersin, Atasoy stated that they want to realize business agreements in the fields of trade, industry and investment within the framework of the business world, to bring foreign investors to Turkey and contribute to the country's economy, and that they want to increase cooperation between Mersin Organized Chamber of Industry and ULUSKON on joint investment, trade, export and import issues.

'WE WILL MAKE MERSIN A BRAND CITY'

Tekli stated that they want to grow and develop the Mersin Organized Industrial Zone and said, "We are striving to make Mersin, which is Turkey's export and import gateway to the world, a more well-known brand city. We have made great progress in this direction so far, and we will continue to do so in the new period."

Tekli said that they expect the commercial and industrial presence of ULUSKON, which is an international brand of Turkey, to increase in Mersin and its surroundings, to increase investments, for businesspeople to cooperate with the chairmanship of the chamber of industry, and to increase the commercial and industrial presence of ULUSKON in Mersin while working in this direction. Noting that they can encourage ULUSKON and affiliated businesspeople to invest in Mersin, Tekli said that they can provide the necessary support and that they attach importance to increasing cooperation with ULUSKON.

Sector-based bilateral meetings were held between the delegations of ULUSKON and Mersin Organized Chamber of Industry. Then, it was decided to cooperate between the Chamber of Industry and ULUSKON in the fields of export, import, trade and investment.
