ULUSKON Signs Protocol in Baku to Strengthen Women’s Entrepreneurship

Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, hosted an important cooperation initiative between Türkiye and Azerbaijan aimed at supporting women’s entrepreneurship. The protocol signed by Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of ULUSKON and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and Sekine Babayeva, President of AQSIA, aims to ensure that women in both countries take a stronger place in economic life.

Speaking at the ceremony, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy emphasized the growing importance of women’s role in the business world, stating, “This protocol will further deepen cooperation between the two countries and offer strong support to women entrepreneurs in their branding processes.”

AQSIA President Sekine Babayeva highlighted that the brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continues to materialize in the economic sphere as well, saying, “We value this cooperation greatly, as it will help make our women entrepreneurs more visible on the international stage.”

A Protocol Offering Wide-Ranging Support From Education to Digital Marketing

Prepared and signed by ULUSKON, the protocol includes training programs for women entrepreneurs in both countries, mentorship networks, digital marketing support, and joint initiatives coordinated with chambers of commerce.

The protocol aims to accelerate women’s branding processes, facilitate access to finance, and strengthen integration into international networks. Atasoy stated, “Women taking leadership positions in the economy is of critical importance for both social development and expanding regional business volume.”

Long-Term Projects Targeted

With the signed protocol, Türkiye and Azerbaijan aim to develop sustainable business models, create new mutually beneficial projects, and enhance cooperation in helping women entrepreneurs enter global markets.

Atasoy underlined that the protocol will further strengthen economic relations between the two countries in the coming years, saying, “We believe this cooperation will provide significant contributions both to our women entrepreneurs and to the economic vision of our countries in the period ahead.”
