ULUSKON PRESIDENT ATASOY INITIATES CONTACT TO STRENGTHEN TRADE TIES WITH GAMBIA

Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, added another key engagement to her official visit to The Gambia. As part of her visit, President Atasoy held an important meeting with Sarata Conateh, President of the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

SIGNIFICANT MEETING TO STRENGTHEN COMMERCIAL TIES

During the meeting held in Banjul, discussions centered on enhancing trade relations between Turkey and The Gambia, increasing bilateral trade volume, and implementing joint projects. Opportunities for collaboration in key sectors such as agriculture, food processing, energy, textiles, and logistics were discussed in detail.

Sarata Conateh highlighted The Gambia’s vast trade potential and expressed hope for increased interest from Turkish businesspeople in the Gambian market. She emphasized ULUSKON’s pivotal role in strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries and thanked President Atasoy for her contributions.

During the meeting, President Atasoy underlined her commitment to further strengthening trade ties between the two countries, stating: “The Gambia offers significant opportunities for Turkish businesspeople. I believe this visit will take economic relations between Turkey and The Gambia to new heights.”
