ULUSKON PRESIDENT ATASOY HELD SIGNIFICANT TALKS WITH GAMBIA'S MINISTRY OF DEFENSE

Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, continued her pivotal engagements during her official visit to The Gambia from January 6 to 9, 2025. As part of the visit, President Atasoy met with Rohie B. Darboe, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, at the Ministry headquarters.

EMPHASIS ON COLLABORATION AND FUTURE PROJECTS

During the meeting, potential opportunities for collaboration in the defense industry, infrastructure development, education, and technology sharing between Türkiye and The Gambia were discussed. The talks highlighted the development of defense-related projects and the establishment of a sustainable partnership between the two nations.

Rohie B. Darboe praised the global recognition of Turkish defense industry products and expressed The Gambia’s interest in leveraging Turkish technology and expertise in the sector. She emphasized the role of ULUSKON as a vital bridge between Turkey and The Gambia and extended her gratitude to President Atasoy for the comprehensive visit.
