ULUSKON President Atasoy, who made the opening speech of the meeting, said, “We primarily want to increase exports, imports and investments between Turkey and Morocco. As ULUSKON, we have realized many projects that has shaped trade in different countries and we want to achieve development in the areas of trade with you in Morocco. She expressed that she would be pleased to deepen our commercial work with the embassy after the recession during the pandemic. “We are planning a visit with the business people of ULUSKON with the program of our Ambassador in Morocco, after the decision to cooperate between the two countries, especially on export, import and investment opportunities, as well as to increase the interaction between the two cultures.”

‘WE WANT CULTURAL EXCHANGE TO BE EXPERIENCED AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS’

Ambassador Mohammed Ali Lazreq, on the other hand, made a statement saying: “In recent years, Morocco has taken initiatives in different sectors, significantly improving its economy and undersigning a number of different projects. I believe that we have strengthened our ties with Turkey in particular, but I think we still need to go a long way towards these ties. Especially in tourism and cultural interaction, Moroccan people are very enthusiastic and they have always been curious and endeavored to get to know Turkey to better learn the various aspects of Turkey’s culture and rich geography. We have observed that Morocco is generally seen as a place that appeals to the elite, but we want this opinion to change and cultural fusion to be experienced at the highest levels because Morocco is a culturally rich and open place for everyone. I would like to develop our projects step-by-step with the help of ULUSKON and speed up the planning for the visit to Morocco of Ms. Nezaket. I am sure that our interactions will be very fruitful because working with someone who has good intentions and is as harfdworking as you is always a pleasure.”
