Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the INTERNATIONAL Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON), United Nations (UNOPS) Advisor and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Advisor, had a meeting with Senegal Ambassador Cheikh Gueye. In this special meeting held upon the invitation of Ambassador Gueye, Senegal's investment potential was introduced. In this meeting held at the embassy office, Senegal's growing economy and investment areas were discussed in detail.
In his speech, the Ambassador emphasized investment opportunities, especially in the infrastructure, construction, tourism and transportation sectors, and stated that the potential in these sectors is just being discovered. He also underlined Senegal's stable political structure and the incentives it offers to investors.
While Atasoy received detailed information about these new opportunities and supporting structure offered by Senegal, mutual cooperation and partnership opportunities were also discussed. Gueye emphasized that he believes that good projects can be achieved in Senegal with the vision provided by ULUSKON and that commercial and social relations between Turkey and Senegal will gradually strengthen thanks to Chairman Atasoy. Gueye said, “I will be honored by your visit to Senegal again and I will give all the support I can to the ULUSKON delegation.” He continued his words.
Atasoy said, “Senegal is a country open to investment and growth. I hope that by leading the Turkish business world, investments in Senegal will increase further and the commercial and social development between both countries will continue. We decided to visit Senegal in the new year to expand cooperation between Turkey and Senegal in all areas, especially construction projects. I wish good luck to our country and Senegal," she said.
This meeting aims to support the economic growth of both countries by contributing to the strengthening of commercial relations between Senegal and Turkey.
