Strong Economic Diplomacy Between ULUSKON and Indonesia

Achmad Rizal Purnama, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Ankara, received Nezaket Emine Atasoy—President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador—at the embassy. The meeting addressed strategic topics aimed at deepening commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and Indonesia.

New Opportunities on the Table in Trade and Investment

The discussions focused on increasing bilateral trade, improving the export–import balance, and implementing joint investment projects. ULUSKON President Atasoy highlighted defense industry, healthcare, energy, and construction as priority sectors for cooperation, noting that strong synergy could be created between the business communities of Türkiye and Indonesia.

Ambassador Purnama emphasized Indonesia’s strong commitment to economic partnerships with Türkiye and stated that cooperation would be enhanced at diplomatic and institutional levels to support new projects.

Preparations Begin for Atasoy’s Visit to Indonesia

The meeting also covered plans for an official visit by Nezaket Emine Atasoy to Indonesia. Under a program to be prepared at the Ambassador’s invitation, meetings are planned with public institutions, business representatives, and investment circles. The visit is expected to lay the groundwork for concrete economic projects between the two countries.

Institutional Strengthening of the Cooperation Process

Both parties agreed on establishing joint working mechanisms in trade and investment. ULUSKON and Indonesian officials underscored that regular engagement would continue to develop sustainable economic relations.

Stating their goal of building a strong economic bridge between Türkiye and Indonesia, Atasoy said, “With mutual trust and a shared vision, we will turn this cooperation into a long-term success.”
