PRESIDENT ATASOY WELCOMED ZAMBIA'S AMBASSADOR

COMMERCIAL RELATIONS BETWEEN TURKIYE AND ZAMBIA DISCUSSED

William Maipambe Sikazwe, the Ambassador of the Zambian Republic to Ankara, visited Nezaket Emine Atasoy, the president of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, at the ULUSKON Headquarters.

TRADE VOLUME TO BE INCREASED

During the visit, discussions were held on cooperation and investment opportunities in the areas of export and import between the two countries. At the meeting hosted by President Atasoy, Ambassador William Maipambe Sikazwe stated that they attach great importance to cooperation between the two countries. He stated that there is serious potential for cooperation, particularly in the construction, industry, agriculture, and mining sectors. President Atasoy, on the other hand, stated that ULUSKON is ready for any kind of cooperation to strengthen commercial relations between the two countries and emphasized that they will provide guidance to Turkish businesspeople who want to invest in Zambia.

Ambassador William Maipambe Sikazwe thanked President Atasoy for the determination of ULUSKON to strengthen Turkey-Zambia cooperation and stated that they would take steps towards joint efforts to initiate and further advance this cooperation. President Atasoy also thanked Ambassador William Maipambe Sikazwe for his kind visit.
