PRESIDENT ATASOY WELCOMED GUATEMALA AMBASSADOR
COMMERCIAL RELATIONS BETWEEN TURKIYE AND GUATEMALA DISCUSSED
Eduardo Enrique Hernandez Recinos, the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Ankara, visited Nezaket Emine Atasoy, the president of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, at her office at the ULUSKON Headquarters.
NEW STEPS TO BE TAKEN
During the visit, discussions were held on cooperation and investment opportunities in the areas of export and import between the two countries. At the meeting hosted by President Atasoy, Ambassador Eduardo Enrique Hernandez Recinos stated that they attach great importance to cooperation between the two countries. He stated that there is serious potential for cooperation, particularly in the textile, construction, agriculture, and mining sectors. President Atasoy, on the other hand, stated that ULUSKON is ready for any kind of cooperation to strengthen commercial relations between the two countries and emphasized that they will provide guidance to Turkish businesspeople who want to invest in Guatemala.
Ambassador Eduardo Enrique Hernandez Recinos thanked President Atasoy for ULUSKON's determination to strengthen Turkey-Guatemala cooperation and stated that they would take steps towards joint efforts to initiate and further advance this cooperation. President Atasoy also thanked Ambassador Eduardo Enrique Hernandez Recinos for his kind visit.
