“ANKARA, THE HEART OF OUR REPUBLIC”

The president of ULUSKON (International Investment and Business Confederation) and UN Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Emine Atasoy issued a written message on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of Ankara becoming the capital.

President Atasoy stated the following in her message:

"We Celebrate the 102nd Anniversary of Ankara Becoming the Capital

The Battle of Malazgirt opened the doors of Anatolia to our nation; in the Battle of Sakarya, the Crusader mentality that sought to take Anatolia from us was buried in the depths of history by our nation's unwavering will.

I remember with mercy, gratitude, and respect the Eternal Commander-in-Chief Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who made these lands our homeland, his comrades-in-arms, our beloved martyrs, and our heroic veterans.

I also greet with the same pride the patriots who welcomed our Great Leader on the slopes of Dikmen.

Ankara, the heart of our Republic, is not just a geography; it has become a symbol of our ideals of independence and modernity.

With this high spirit, we will continue to pass on our historical and cultural heritage to future generations.
