
The Portuguese Ambassador to Ankara, Virginia Pina, visited Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, at her office.
During the visit, discussions were held on opportunities for cooperation and investment between the two countries. In the meeting hosted by President Atasoy, Ambassador Pina emphasized Portugal’s openness to collaboration with Turkey and expressed interest in focusing on joint projects, particularly in the fields of energy, R&D, and construction.
“WE WILL COLLABORATE”
Ambassador Pina stated that a delegation from Portugal would visit Ankara at a convenient time to promote investment incentives in Portugal. She added that they aim to organize a program bringing together businesspeople from various sectors within ULUSKON.
President Atasoy remarked, “I believe that the cooperation between our two countries will grow even stronger and progress steadily. We will collaborate with Portugal in areas such as exports, imports, and investment, and as ULUSKON, we will guide businesspeople who wish to invest in Portugal.”
Ambassador Pina thanked President Atasoy for ULUSKON’s efforts to strengthen Turkey-Portugal cooperation and underscored their commitment to furthering this partnership through joint efforts. President Atasoy also expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Pina for her kind visit.
