MRS. ATASOY ATTENDED MOROCCO'S NATIONAL DAY AS GUEST OF HONOR

The 26th anniversary of the enthronement of King Mohammed VI of Morocco was celebrated with a meaningful reception organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ankara. The event served as an important platform to further strengthen the diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Turkey and Morocco. President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy, participated in the reception as the guest of honor.

HIGH-LEVEL ATTENDANCE

The reception, held at a hotel in Ankara under the auspices of H.E. Mohammed Ali Lazreq, Ambassador of Morocco to Turkey, was attended by H.E. Ambassador Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, representatives of various diplomatic missions, and numerous distinguished guests. In his opening remarks, Ambassador Lazreq emphasized that the “Throne Day” is not merely a national celebration but also a symbolic occasion reflecting the Moroccan people’s deep-rooted and historic allegiance.

NEW HORIZONS IN BILATERAL TRADE RELATIONS

The program began with the national anthems of Turkey and Morocco. Ambassador Lazreq noted that the friendly relations between the two countries continue to progress based on mutual respect and cooperation. He highlighted that since the entry into force of the free trade agreement, the bilateral trade volume has surpassed the $5 billion threshold, marking a significant milestone.

PRESIDENT ATASOY: “ULUSKON IS OPEN TO ALL FORMS OF COOPERATION”

Throughout the event, ULUSKON President Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy held several bilateral meetings and extended her congratulations to Ambassador Lazreq on this special occasion. Discussions focused on increasing trade volume, promoting mutual investments, and launching new cooperation projects between the private sectors of both countries. President Atasoy emphasized ULUSKON’s readiness to contribute to further strengthening the economic relations between Turkey and Morocco.
