ETHIOPIAN EMBASSY OFFICIAL PAYS VISIT TO ULUSKON PRESIDENT ATASOY

Minyahil Negash Sonesa, Head of the Investment, Trade, and Technology Transfer Division at the Embassy of Ethiopia in Ankara, paid an official visit to Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND JOINT PROJECTS ON THE AGENDA

During the meeting, opportunities for economic cooperation and investment between Türkiye and Ethiopia were discussed in detail. Hosted by ULUSKON President Atasoy, the meeting featured Minister Counsellor Minyahil Negash emphasizing Ethiopia’s readiness for strategic partnerships with Türkiye. He noted that they intend to focus on joint projects in key sectors such as energy, technology, health, tourism, manufacturing, and construction.

PLANS TO PROMOTE INVESTMENT INCENTIVES

As part of the visit, Minister Counsellor Negash announced plans to organize a delegation from Ethiopia to visit Ankara at an appropriate time to promote Ethiopia’s investment incentives. He also shared their intention to hold a business forum under the auspices of ULUSKON, bringing together entrepreneurs and investors from a wide range of sectors.

“WE ARE IN CLOSE COOPERATION WITH ETHIOPIA”

Commenting on the visit, ULUSKON President Atasoy stated:

“I believe that the cooperation between our two countries will become even stronger in the coming period and will advance on solid foundations. We will continue our close collaboration with Ethiopia in the fields of exports, imports, and investment. As ULUSKON, we are fully prepared to provide all necessary support to business representatives interested in investing in Ethiopia.”

Minister Counsellor Minyahil Negash expressed his gratitude to President Atasoy on behalf of the Embassy for ULUSKON’s contributions to strengthening Türkiye–Ethiopia relations. Both parties affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to further develop this cooperation. President Atasoy also extended her appreciation to Minister Counsellor Negash for his courtesy visit.
