The East Anatolia Economic Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Malatya under the leadership of the International Confederation of Investment and Business (ULUSKON) and hosted by ULUSKON’s Malatya Provincial Presidency. The event gathered ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, and public- and private-sector representatives, aiming to highlight the region’s investment potential on both national and international levels.
His Excellency Saeed Thani Hareb Juma Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), attended the forum as guest of honor. In his keynote presentation, Ambassador Al Dhaheri outlined investment opportunities in the UAE, discussed the favorable trade environment, and highlighted various incentives available to international investors.
During the event, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy and Ambassador Al Dhaheri held bilateral talks focused on concrete steps to enhance Türkiye–UAE economic cooperation. The discussions addressed increasing bilateral trade volume, supporting mutual investments, and launching new collaboration projects between the private sectors of both nations.
President Atasoy reaffirmed ULUSKON’s commitment to advancing Türkiye–UAE economic relations, stating:
“The existing friendly ties between our two countries can be further strengthened through mutual investments and joint projects, contributing to sustainable growth and prosperity.”
At the conclusion of the forum, Ambassador Al Dhaheri expressed his appreciation for the invitation and warm hospitality, presenting President Atasoy with a gift as a gesture of mutual goodwill.
