A Courtesy Visit from Nicaraguan Ambassador Tatiana Daniela Garcia Silva to ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy

Nicaraguan Ambassador to Turkey, Tatiana Daniela Garcia Silva, paid a courtesy visit to Nezaket Emine Atasoy, the President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.

This visit, serving as a preliminary meeting, aimed to strengthen economic cooperation and trade relations between Turkey and Nicaragua. During the meeting, Ambassador Silva expressed Nicaragua’s openness to collaboration with Turkey and highlighted the extensive investment opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, energy, mining, and industry.

Ambassador Silva also noted the nearly 74-year history of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Nicaragua, stating:

“As you can see, we have opened an embassy in your country for the first time. With the establishment of a Turkish Embassy in Nicaragua, our relations will gain even greater momentum. There is no doubt that the strengthening of political relations will also lead to expanded cooperation in the economic sphere.”

Furthermore, the Ambassador emphasized Embassy’s readiness for all forms of collaboration with ULUSKON and expressed her enthusiasm for participating in significant future meetings with the organization.

Mrs. Nezaket Emine Atasoy and Ambassador Silva affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to enhance cooperation and deepen bilateral relations between Turkey and Nicaragua. At the conclusion of the meeting, President Atasoy presented a gift to Ambassador Silva, and a commemorative photo was taken.
