23 April message from ULUSKON President Atasoy

Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and International Human Rights Defense Committee (IHRDC) Goodwill Ambassador, published a message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy, in her message, said, “Our joy for April 23, which we feel in our hearts every year with great pride and enthusiasm; This year it is left unfinished due to our beautiful children who lost their lives in the earthquake disaster we experienced in our country. We commemorate all our children and citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake. I sincerely congratulate all children in our country and all around the world on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

I see this important day, when the sovereignty was left to the will of our great nation, as a turning point for our country and nation. Under the leadership of the Supreme Assembly, the Turkish Nation came together to protect the integrity and independence of our country and achieved victory by giving a great struggle for this cause. In this respect, we are the children of a nation reborn from its ashes. I find this spirit of determination and struggle that we have displayed as a nation in the face of great difficulties very important and valuable. I think it is our responsibility for our children, to bring this spirit of determination and struggle in addition to raising them as individuals who are loyal to our national and spiritual values, have good morals, are educated and ready to build the world of the future. The first president of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the leader of our National Struggle, the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, presented the opening day of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, which is the symbol of our national sovereignty, as a holiday to our children, the guarantee of our nation and our future. With these feelings and thoughts; On the 103rd anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, which represents the sovereign spirit of our nation with the meaning it carries, we commemorate the founder of our Republic, Atatürk, and all the heroes of the War of Independence with mercy and gratitude; I celebrate the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day of our precious children, who bring joy to our world with their presence, and I embrace them all with love."
