ULUSKON'S CONTACTS CONCLUDE WITH MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS VISIT: A NEW ECONOMIC ERA BEGINS WITH THE TRNC The three-day official visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) by Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON), and her accompanying delegation—organized under the coordination of the TRNC Ambassador to Ankara, İsmet Korukoğlu—successfully concluded with a high-level reception on August 29. On the final day of the visit, President Atasoy and the ULUSKON delegation were received by TRNC Minister of Foreign Affairs Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu. During this critical meeting, key topics were discussed, including commercial diplomacy activities, strengthening the TRNC's economic and political representation in international markets, and crowning the strategic ties between the two countries with commercial success. With the completion of the 3-day TRNC program, which witnessed an intensive diplomacy and business schedule, a new phase has begun in which concrete and strategic steps will be taken in commercial relations between Türkiye and the TRNC. As a result of the visits, it is expected that bilateral trade volume will grow rapidly, direct investments from Türkiye to the TRNC will be encouraged, and joint projects aimed at accelerating regional development will be implemented without delay. Furthermore, in line with the agreements reached and understandings attained, working groups will be established in the fields of industry, energy, logistics, and local governments to boost the TRNC's export potential and directly contribute to the sustainable economic growth of both nations.
