ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy Visits Ambassador of Mongolia Lkhagvasuren Ochir
Development of Türkiye–Mongolia Trade Relations Discussed
President of the International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) and UN Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Emine Atasoy paid a visit to H.E. Lkhagvasuren Ochir, Ambassador of Mongolia to Ankara, at the Mongolian Embassy.
During the meeting, discussions focused on further advancing the existing friendly relations between Türkiye and Mongolia in the economic and commercial spheres. Particular attention was given to increasing exports and imports between the two countries, expanding bilateral trade volume, and strengthening contacts between the Turkish and Mongolian business communities.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of making more effective use of the economic potential of both countries. It was emphasized that establishing new platforms to bring Turkish and Mongolian businesspeople together could make a significant contribution to the development of bilateral trade and investment relations. Within the framework of ULUSKON’s efforts to promote international investment and business cooperation, potential projects and initiatives that could contribute to Türkiye–Mongolia economic relations were also discussed.
Atasoy Congratulates Ambassador Ochir on His New Assignment
During the meeting, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy congratulated Ambassador Lkhagvasuren Ochir on his new assignment in Ankara and conveyed her best wishes for success in his diplomatic mission.
Ambassador Ochir expressed his enthusiasm and pleasure at undertaking his new diplomatic assignment in Türkiye. He emphasized the importance he attaches to strengthening Türkiye–Mongolia relations, particularly in the fields of trade, investment, and economic cooperation. The meeting was described as a productive exchange aimed at further strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
Exchange of Goodwill Gifts
At the conclusion of the visit, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy presented Ambassador Lkhagvasuren Ochir with a commemorative plaque as a gesture of goodwill and in recognition of the friendship and cooperation between Türkiye and Mongolia.
In return, Ambassador Ochir presented Nezaket Emine Atasoy with a Mongolian cashmere shawl, one of Mongolia’s internationally renowned traditional products, as a symbol of friendship and goodwill.
Following the exchange of gifts, the meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthening economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Mongolia.
ULUSKON is expected to continue its efforts in the coming period to strengthen trade, investment, and business connections between Türkiye and Mongolia, as well as to develop new initiatives bringing together business communities from both countries.
