
Azerbaijan Trade Representative Tamerlan Taghiyev Addressed the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit
Organized under the leadership of ULUSKON in cooperation with the Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange, the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit, held on 28–30 July 2026, brought together ambassadors from 15 countries, diplomatic mission representatives, public institutions, and leading figures from the business community. The panel titled "Global Trade and Regional Cooperation Opportunities from the Perspectives of Ambassadors," held on the first day of the summit, attracted significant interest as it focused on regional development, international trade, and investment opportunities.
As the first speaker of the panel, Tamerlan Taghiyev, Trade Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Türkiye, addressed the participants and shared his insights. Emphasizing the strong economic partnership between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Taghiyev highlighted the importance of strengthening international trade and underscored the vital role of regional partnerships in fostering sustainable economic growth. His remarks were followed with great interest by business leaders and diplomatic representatives attending the summit, serving as a strong opening to the panel discussions.
