Kastamonu to Host Ambassadors and Business Leaders on 28–30 July

The International Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON) is set to organize another major international event that will contribute to Türkiye's vision of economic diplomacy. Under the leadership of ULUSKON President and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Nezaket Emine Atasoy, the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit will take place on 28–30 July 2026 at the Dedeman Hotel Kastamonu.

The summit will bring together ambassadors serving in Türkiye, representatives of diplomatic missions, senior officials from public institutions, business leaders, investors, and industry representatives. Throughout the event, the investment, manufacturing, export, and tourism potential of the Western Black Sea Region will be showcased on an international platform.

International Support for Regional Development

The summit aims to connect international investors with the Western Black Sea Region's abundant natural resources, strong industrial infrastructure, agricultural and forestry capacity, and rich tourism assets. It is expected to pave the way for new partnerships that will contribute to the region's long-term economic development.

Conference sessions will focus on international trade, investment opportunities, export development, sustainable economic growth, and commercial cooperation between countries. In addition, Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings between ambassadors and representatives of the Turkish business community are expected to facilitate new investment partnerships and commercial collaborations.

Showcasing Kastamonu to the World

As part of the cultural program on the second day of the summit, participants will have the opportunity to explore Kastamonu's rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage. The city's tourism attractions and investment opportunities will be presented on-site, making a significant contribution to its international promotion.

The program includes visits to Kastamonu's Historic City Center, Kastamonu Castle, Nasrullah Square, and the region's most prominent natural attractions, offering diplomatic delegations a comprehensive introduction to the tourism potential of the Western Black Sea Region.

Nezaket Emine Atasoy: "We Continue to Strengthen Economic Diplomacy"

Commenting on the significance of the summit, ULUSKON President Nezaket Emine Atasoy stated:

"As ULUSKON, our mission extends beyond connecting the business community—we also strive to strengthen the bridges of friendship between nations. Through the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit, we will introduce Kastamonu's investment, manufacturing, and tourism potential to the international diplomatic community. By bringing ambassadors together with representatives of the Turkish business world on the same platform, we aim to open new avenues for trade, support regional development, and further strengthen Türkiye's international economic relations."

A New Hub for Economic Diplomacy

Over the course of the three-day summit, a comprehensive program of panel discussions, investment presentations, B2B business meetings, and official engagements will foster stronger economic relations between Türkiye and partner countries, encourage new investment opportunities, and promote sustainable commercial cooperation.

Organized by ULUSKON, the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit is expected to reinforce Kastamonu's position on the global investment map while making a meaningful contribution to Türkiye's ongoing efforts in economic diplomacy.
