Ambassador Ilham Haydarov of Uzbekistan Discussed Türkiye-Uzbekistan Relations at the Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit
Organized under the leadership of ULUSKON in cooperation with the Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange, the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit, held in Kastamonu on 28–30 July 2026, brought together diplomatic representatives from various countries and members of the business community. On the first day of the summit, ambassadors and diplomatic mission representatives from 15 countries participated in the panel titled "Global Trade and Regional Cooperation Opportunities from the Perspectives of Ambassadors," where discussions focused on global trade as well as opportunities to further develop economic relations between countries.
Addressing the participants during the panel, H.E. Ilham Haydarov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Türkiye, shared his views on making more effective use of the existing potential in the economic relations between Türkiye and Uzbekistan. Emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral trade ties and creating new opportunities for investment and cooperation, Ambassador Haydarov presented his perspectives on further advancing mutual economic relations. His remarks were followed with great interest by diplomatic mission representatives and members of the business community attending the summit.
