Ambassador Hugo Arturo Cayrus Maurin Addressed the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit
Organized under the leadership of ULUSKON in cooperation with the Kastamonu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange, the International Western Black Sea Economic Cooperation Summit, held on 28–30 July 2026, brought together diplomatic representatives from different regions of the world, public institutions, and the business community on a common platform. Attended by ambassadors and diplomatic mission representatives from 15 countries, the summit featured the panel titled "Global Trade and Regional Cooperation Opportunities from the Perspectives of Ambassadors" on its opening day, providing an important forum for discussions on strengthening international economic relations.
During the panel, H.E. Hugo Arturo Cayrus Maurin, Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to the Republic of Türkiye, shared his views on enhancing the economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Uruguay. Emphasizing the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation, increasing trade volume, and exploring new investment opportunities, Ambassador Maurin highlighted the valuable contribution that international partnerships can make to sustainable economic development. His address was followed with great interest by business leaders and members of the diplomatic community, making a meaningful contribution to the panel discussions.
