Nezaket Emine Atasoy, President of the INTERNATIONAL Investment and Business Confederation (ULUSKON), United Nations (UNOPS) Advisor and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Advisor, had a meeting with Gambia Ambassador Mr. Alkali Fanka Conteh. In this meeting held at ULUSKON Headquarters, economic and investment issues between the two countries were discussed. During this visit aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and trade relations between Turkey and Gambia, the Gambian Ambassador stated that they are open to cooperation between the two countries and shared that they are especially focused on cooperation in the fields of tourism, construction and import-export.
One of the prominent topics at the meeting was the construction of hotels, houses and hospitals. Gambian Ambassador Conteh drew attention to the growth potential in Gambia's health and accommodation sectors and announced that they give priority to Turkish companies. Stating that they attach importance to progress in the tourism sector and agriculture, Conteh shared that the energy and construction sectors are also very popular in terms of investment in Gambia. In addition to investment opportunities, economic cooperation and mutual trade opportunities were also discussed. Exciting perspectives regarding increased cooperation between Turkey and Gambia were discussed and the future potential of joint projects was discussed.

Gambian Ambassador Conteh called on the Turkish business world to invest in Gambia and emphasized that efforts should be made to strengthen cooperation between countries. Stating that investment opportunities between Turkey and Gambia are spread over a wide area, Conteh stated that their doors are open to business people who want to invest in Gambia and trade between the two countries through ULUSKON. Conteh said, “We are honored and happy to meet with Nezaket Atasoy and strengthen our ties.” He concluded his words by saying.
This meeting is an important step in strengthening friendly relations between countries and increasing commercial potential. It is aimed to further deepen the relations between the two countries and to implement joint projects.
